Beginning Delegates
The IMUNA conferences are beginner-friendly. No matter how experienced, or inexperienced, you estimate yourself to be when it comes to debating, we aim to create a safe environment for all to learn and have a good time. Nevertheless having a somewhat solid understanding of what goes on at a MUN is deemed to be very helpful. Especially when dealing with more complex situations.
Previously, to gain such knowledge, we would offer so-called Audio Guides. These usually came on a USB stick or CD and could be used to reiterate overall important aspects in a fun way. We have decided to release this audio guide for free on our website to allow everyone to learn and thereby open up to debating/mun-community for all those interested! Besides releasing our Audio Guide publicly, we have decided to release various (somewhat older) downloadable documents. These can also be accessed below.
Please note that although we have made this Audio Guide publicly available, its copyright still applies. This means that anyone who, without the written consent of the IMUNA Foundation, copies, reproduces, transmits, or distributes the sounds of the Audio Guide shall be subject to the remedies provided in the Dutch “Wetboek van Strafrecht” to the same extent as an infringer of copyright.
A special thanks to Dirk van Leeuwen, Laurens Verhoef, Roeland Kegel and Lara Jonkers for the writing, recording and composing of the Audio Guide.
